Electrical technologies for greener aircrafts
Aeromechs is an innovative SME, founded in 2011 by a team of PhD in Electronic Engineering. Aeromechs core business is the design, manufacturing, programming and testing of electronic control units for aircraft electrical equipment. These control units are typically adopted to implement innovative electrical energy management strategies, targetting at a reduced consumption of fuel onboard, hence obtaining environmental benefits due to CO2 production decrease. Thanks to these innovative ideas, Aeromechs has participated since its foundation to several EU and National research projects, including Clean Sky 1 and Clean Sky 2 initiatives. Currently, Aeromechs is involved in 6 EU and 1 National research projects, collaborating with the most important industrial and research European actors in this area, including companies such as Leonardo Velivoli, Airbus, SAFRAN, and research institutions such as CIRA, University of Nottingham, UTRC, University of Seville, and others.
