Our system consists of smart customizable wrist bands that can be designed on demand, BLE mesh technology that connects a crowd in a interactive light show experience, and IoT Channel broadcasting that syncs live events and media streams to fans.The company was founded by entrepreneurs with successful startup experience in s/w, h/w and consumer products. The CEO, Michael Bettua , was founder and CEO of a consumer brand company and held senior roles at two software startups with $B exits. The founders of those two companies are two of Gemio’s largest shareholers. The CTO is from MIT with a PhD EE and a background in rocket science and wireless medical devices. Lead investors are: Facebook’s first VP of Sales; the founder and CEO of Silknet Software ($4.2B); a founder of BladeLogic ($900M exit).
