Global Clean Energy Holdings is a vertically integrated producer of ultra-low-carbon, non-food, renewable fuels.
GCEH is a uniquely positioned, vertically integrated biofuels company that develops, grows, processes, refines and distributes "renewable diesel," an ultra-low-carbon, cleaner burning, drop-in fuel that leverages existing infrastructure. The upstream/ midstream/ downstream business model echoes that of a major oil company. Three subsidiaries: Sustainable Oils (for camelina seed & agronomy IP); Bakersfield Renewable Fuels (a refinery on 500-acres being retooled as the largest biorefinery in Western US) and; Agribody Technologies (additional plant science expertise). ExxonMobil has committed to purchase 5 MMB/Y for five years of GCEH's renewable diesel, which has the only certified non-food pathway to renewable diesel. It yields 80% fewer emissions than fossil diesel. GCEH's patented camelina has at least twice the yield as other varieties. This short-season, dryland crop can be grown on fallow land in crop rotation, so it does not displace land use and also improves farm economics. High-protein livestock feed is a co-product.
