Andrea is the Director and Associate General Counsel of Security at Facebook where she is responsible for supporting the, Global Law Enforcement Response team and counseling the company on issues related to law enforcement response, government surveillance, user and child safety, data security, enforcement actions and user data-related litigation. Andrea is a past President, Vice President and Board member of the Technology Coalition – an industry trade association focused on eradication of child exploitation on the Internet.

Prior to joining Facebook, Andrea spent 4 years working on the Legal team at Yahoo where she supported and managed the International Law Enforcement Response team, supported the Global Customer Care Organization and was responsible for counseling on issues related to user and child safety, data security and global content moderation.

Before moving in-house, Andrea spent 7 years in private practice as a litigator with the most recent 5 years spent as an associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology group at Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher, and Flom LLP.
