Annette Franqui currently works as the Founding Partner for Forrestal Capital, a business and financial advisory firm addressing the needs of the selling shareholders of Panamco. I was Chief Financial Officer for Panamco, a NYSE listed company that was, at the time of its sale, the largest Coca Cola bottler outside the United States. I was instrumental in its sale for US$3.6 billion, delivering a significant premium to its shareholders. Forrestal invests the liquidity of its clients through third party managers and provides advice in their multiple operating businesses. In 2007, Forrestal advised a client in the acquisition of Mc Donald's in all of Latin America and the Caribbean. The acquisition was completed with a group of private equity funds at a purchase price of US$700 million. This Company completed a NYSE listing in 2011, under the symbol ARCO, at a price that represented a 10X multiple of the original equity invested. The client continues to have majority ownership of this business and I am actively involved in it, having served as a member of the Board since 2007. Over the last few years, Forrestal Capital has focused primarily on direct investing. Currently investments include companies in the food and beverage, consumer retail, hospitality, distribution and logistics, automation and medical devices. I serve on the Board of Directors of most of the portfolio companies and also serve on the national Board of Directors of AARP. She Previously worked at Panamerican Beverages as Chief Financial Officer. She attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1984.
