Other roles in sales included Director of the Western Area, director of the Central Area, Southwest DSP manager, as well as management positions in San Jose and San Diego, focusing on major accounts and growing the distribution business. In 2005 he was named vice president and took over the Americas Sales and Applications organization. He then led Microcontroller Products prior to assuming leadership of Embedded Processing.Crutcher earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering degree from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and a master of business administration degree from the University of California, Irvine.Crutcher believes in giving back to universities and helping inspire the next generation of engineers.
