Brian joined Acidophil in 2010 and is a co-founder of AgriMetis. Prior to joining Acidophil he conducted postdoctoral work focused on studying genome evolution, virulence, and basic biology of the fungal pathogen Candida glabrata at Johns Hopkins University. He received his doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco in Genetics where he studied genomic damage and rearrangements associated with cancer progression. He has authored peer-reviewed articles published in numerous journals, including Science.
