Bryan Taylor joined Advent International in February 2019 as a Managing Partner and head of the firm’s technology investment team. He has been investing in the technology sector for more than 18 years and has led or participated in over 30 investments across a range of deal sizes, from later-stage growth equity to large-scale buyouts.Bryan has worked on Advent’s investment in Definitive Healthcare and Transaction Services Group. Prior to Advent, Bryan worked on over 30 investments in the technology sector, including, most recently, McAfee, Ellucian, Tanium, Box, GreenSky, Advent Software, CCC Information Services and Eze Software.Most recently, Bryan was co-head of TPG Capital’s technology group, where he was instrumental in building the firm’s software investment capabilities and jointly led a 20-person team.Prior to joining TPG, Bryan was a founder and Managing Director at Symphony Technology Group, a private equity firm focused exclusively on software and technology services investments. Before Symphony, he was a Manager at Bain & Company, where he worked in the private equity and technology practice groups in San Francisco and Los Angeles.Bryan graduated with honors from Stanford University and earned an MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
