Charles is Co-Founder & VP of Product of Farmers Business Network (FBN), where he guides the development of the breakthrough farmer-to-farmer network. The FBN network is creating a digital farm economy for its over 21 m acres of member farms. By networking thousands of farms in the US & Canada, the FBN network helps farmers make better agronomic decisions, reduce input costs with e-commerce, and get premium prices for their crops through its global buyer network. Previously, Charles was a program manager at Google where he started and led product, investment and research initiatives in advanced energy technologies. Charles’ passion for farming developed after a working a corn harvest on his brother-in-law’s farm in Arapahoe, Nebraska, prior to joining Google. Charles earned an AB from Dartmouth and an MBA from Harvard with coursework at MIT.
