David has 30 years of experience in microturbine and gas turbine design, manufacturing, and commercialization with experience in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining ICRTec David was president and COO of Elliott Energy Systems, and was responsible for the design and commercialization of its 100kW packaged CHP system. Before Elliott, David was lead turbine engineer at Solar Turbines and was responsible for the design of the Mercury 50 general arrangement. Earlier in his career he was manufacturing services manager at Sundstrand Power Systems and principal design engineer at Allied Signal Aerospace.

Before moving to the US, David gained experience at Rolls Royce, and Noel Penny Turbines. In addition to his corporate activities David is past Chair of the United States Clean Heat & Power Association, and past Chair of the International Gas Turbine Institute’s microturbine and small gas turbine committee. David received a B.Sc. with honors in mechanical engineering, with post graduate studies in Production Engineering manufacture from the Lanchester Polytechnic, (Coventry University), England.
