On the Board since 2007, and Chairman since 2009, David brings AdaptiveMobile a wealth of global telecommunications experience, having started his career with AT&T in 1970. Since this time David has had assignments in network operations, operator services, marketing, information services and business development.Following the AT&T divestiture in 1984, David joined Ameritech in Chicago before moving to Brussels with Ameritech's privatization of Belgacom, where he had operational oversight responsibilities in Belgacom, Matav and a German publishing company, WLW, as well as European business development.In 1997, Ameritech acquired control of TeleDanmark (TDC) and David was appointed Senior Vice President of TeleDanmark International in Copenhagen. SBC (now AT&T) acquired Ameritech in 1999 and after successfully transitioning TDC,David retired from AT&T in October 2000. David joined Doughty Hanson & Co, a London based private equity firm in November 2000 as Managing Director for Telecoms and Media. David led numerous leveraged buy-outs in the TMT sector on behalf of Doughty Hanson & Co. Joining Advent International in March 2008 as Operating Partner, David represented Advent on the board of the global telecom hardware and software provider Italtel, with co-shareholders Cisco and Telecom Italia.
