Dirk van den Biggelaar is Market Design Engineer at Grid Singularity, engaged in research and development of D3A bidding strategies and market structures, building upon his acute interest in game theory and distributed optimisation in the field of decentralized energy communities. He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master Degree in Systems and Control Engineering at Delft University. Before starting at Grid Singularity, Dirk completed an exchange at KAIST University in South Korea and did an engineering internship in the Republic of Congo.
