Donna Snow, RNC-OB, who has been with Accolade since the very beginning, is responsible for the design and delivery of many of the clinical processes we use to support our clients with their medical or behavioral health needs.

Donna has more than 25 years of experience as a registered nurse. That experience guides her as she trains, mentors and coaches our Clinical Health Assistants in their daily interactions with clients. She also monitors the effectiveness of our clinical processes and changes them, when necessary, to improve the client experience. The ultimate goals: eliminate process errors—and give clients and their families the information they need to make the best healthcare decisions for them.

Donna began her career as a maternity nurse and, in the ensuing years, has gained a deep understanding of how healthcare professionals can help influence those they serve to adopt healthier behaviors. She worked with Vanderbilt University to design and publish a study on the impact nurses have using their teaching skills during interactions with patients on the phone.

Prior to joining Accolade, Donna was senior vice president of Clinical Operations for Matria Healthcare. While at Matria, Donna provided strategic direction for disease management and wellness services to large health plan and employer clients. She also spent 15 years with Health Management Corporation (HMC), a subsidiary of WellPoint, Inc., where she led a multidisciplinary team in improving individual health status and decreasing the costs related to chronic health conditions.

Donna holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Bellevue University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Old Dominion University and an associate’s degree in nursing from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
