Fady Hannah-Shmouni, MD ABIM FRCPC is a physician-entrepreneur specializing in internal medicine, neuroendocrinology/genetics, and early-stage investments. His clinical and business interests are on precision medicine/endocrine hypertensive disorders, and investments or corporate development in disruptive technologies including blockchain, AI and biotechnology. He is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of FHS Capital and Tigris Digital, specializing in early-stage startup consultations and investments: he serves as a strategic advisor and consultant on several biotechnology and blockchain companies, focusing on business structuring, financing and execution. He led seed round financing for Ovenue Inc. (ovenue.com), an AI and blockchain enabled Web3 as a Service software company for real-world asset valuation, tokenization, and monetization for B2B and financial institutions; and Flyby (flyby.ae), a platform connecting last mile delivery with digital out of home advertising.

Fady completed clinical training in internal medicine at Yale School of Medicine; adult endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the National Institutes of Health, America’s research hospital; and clinical biochemical genetics at the University of Toronto. He is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada; and in clinical hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension. He is a part-time staff physician at Vancouver General Hospital (UBC), and Trillium Health Partners (UofT), practicing endocrinology and internal medicine, and a fellow with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Fady has authored over 100 original articles, book chapters and reviews on endocrine-genetic conditions, and enjoys teaching trainees on hypertension and entrepreneurship.
