Harry Gruner co-founded JMI Equity, a growth equity firm focused on investing in software, internet, business services and healthcare IT companies, in 1992.He is currently a director of Autotask, Capsule Tech, Catapult Learning, Courion, Halogen Software, Navicure, PointClickCare and Studer Group, and a former director of Appriss and Hyperion Software Corporation.Harry's investment experience includes Corliant, CyberTech Systems and Software, Financial Alliance, Intellitactics, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, META Group, Optika Imaging Systems, PROS Revenue Management (NYSE: PRO), Transaction Systems Architects and Transcentive.Prior to co-founding JMI in 1992, Harry was a principal in the Technology Group at Alex. Brown. Prior to joining Alex. Brown, he worked in marketing at Sigma Design, Inc. and in investment banking in the Technology Group of Blyth Eastman PaineWebber, Inc.Harry received a BA in History from Yale University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
