Jeff Greenstein is an American investment manager and entrepreneur based in Seattle, Washington. He began his financial career as a consultant at Merrill Lynch in 1984. After three years at Merrill Lynch, Greenstein became President of Behar Greenstein Inc., where he oversaw option trading on the Chicago Board Options Exchange. From there, Jeff Greenstein moved to Oppenheimer & Co., where he served as Vice President of the Institutional Derivatives division through 1989.

In 1989 Greenstein co-founded a relative value hedge fund group called Greenstein Rosenthal where he served as CEO through 1993, at which time he co-founded Quellos Group, LLC. Jeff Greenstein was the CEO of Quellos—a global alternative investment management firm—through 2007. At this time Quellos was acquired by BlackRock for over $1 billion. Since then, Jeff has worked as the President of YIS Capital, a Seattle-based diversified private investment firm.

Jeff’s longstanding involvement and passion in contemporary art were the drivers behind his co-founding of the Greenstein Lab-- a unique space in Seattle designed to exhibit and promote contemporary artists and their works. Additionally, Jeff is co-founder of the Greenstein Family Foundation and oversees philanthropy initiatives with his wife, Judy.
