Jesper Høiland is President of Novo Nordisk Inc. USA and Executive Vice President Novo Nordisk A/S. He joined the region in 2013 after spending nearly a decade leading the global company's International Operations in Switzerland, which constitutes 150 countries with the "emerging markets" segments and 40 Novo Nordisk affiliates.

Under Mr. Høiland's governance, Novo Nordisk experienced further growth in the U.S. including an 11 percent growth in sales in addition to managing three blockbuster brands with significant growth.

During this time, NNI achieved dominating shares of the Hemophilia and Growth Hormone markets and maintained market leadership in Diabetes.

Mr. Høiland began his career as a management consultant at Lisberg Consulting, and then joined Novo Nordisk in 1987. He has held multiple roles of increasing responsibility, leading marketing functions for Canada, Belgium, and France, as well as serving as the General Manager of Novo Nordisk Australia before returning to Denmark as SVP, Global Marketing.

Mr. Høiland obtained his MSc from Copenhagen Business School in 1985 and has further education from Harvard Business School, INSEAD and IMD Business School.
