Joanna’s long and decorated career has always been dedicated to realizing potential, both in herself and in others. After studying in the U.S., Joanna began working with Nomura International in Fixed Income and Sales Trading, before entering the Hong Kong startup scene.

Over the years, Joanna has turned her talents to running and co-founding a number of thriving ventures. She has worked with a long list of ventures in China, focusing on a wide range of sectors, including 8 Securities, a leading Hong Kong Fintech startup. Making use of her business acumen and entrepreneurial drive, she has also co-founded two technology companies operating in e-commerce, as well as TusMaker Global Network (TGN).

In 2014, Joanna founded City Champion International Limited. Since then, she has successfully guided the company’s core business of co-working spaces to grow into the largest investment-focused incubator in Hong Kong under TGN, the Tuspark Brand of Tus-Holdings. TGN is an entrepreneurial investment service platform operating internationally with a wide range of industries.

Further, Joanna was a Director at TUS International Limited (HK: 872), a leading mobility investment holding company, and is a General Partner at HBCC Fund, a rapidly-growing early-stage TMT fund focused in Hong Kong and China with total estimated asset under management of US$10 Million.

Joanna has developed a rigorous understanding of entrepreneurship, investment and networking throughout Hong Kong and mainland China. She brings a dynamic, open-minded perspective to Creta Ventures, and can assist businesses in building both academic and government networks in mainland China, as well as valuable business and tech community connections in Hong Kong.

A Hong Kong native, Joanna holds a B.A. in Economics from Brown University.
