In less than four months I helped turn 43North from an idea into an international brand with nearly 7,000 applications from 96 countries and all 50 states. 43North received in excess of 300 media hits from national publications like Businessweek, Forbes, Fortune, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Business Insider, to international outlets like the Financial Times (UK), Inc42 (India), The Times of Israel, and The Toronto Star.

With $5 million in cash prizes, including a top award of $1 million, six $500,000 awards and four $250,000 awards, 43North is helping entrepreneurs, startups and teams from across the globe turn their business ideas into reality in Buffalo, NY.

I initiated the launch of Buffalo Startup Weekend to give aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to kick-start their ideas and create businesses. The event has received extensive media coverage from The Buffalo News, Buffalo Business First, Artvoice, Buffalo Rising, WGRZ, WIVB and Buffalo TWC News. To date, nearly 500 aspiring entrepreneurs have gone through the program.

In my spare time I have been attending conferences to learn more about Bitcoin and blockchain technologies. I am excited to see what opportunities may arise in the future as Bitcoin evolves to universal appeal and recognition.
