Katerina Markov Schneider is the CEO & founder of Ritual, a stealth health technology company. Previously, she was a Venture Partner with Troy Carter in his investment fund, AF Square, where she managed an active portfolio of over 70 investments, including Styleseat, Dropbox, Warby Parker, Spotify, Uber, and Lyft. 

Earlier in her career, Katerina served as Head of Global Innovation at Atom Factory, a branding, digital, and entertainment management company, where she led digital strategy & high-level technology partnerships for artists such as Lady Gaga and John Legend, along with associated brands and investment portfolio companies. She previously worked as Global Lead of Digital Innovation at Universal Music Group; and before that, was the Senior Business Development Advisor to the company’s Chairman & CEO.

Before Atom Factory, Katerina served as Global Lead of Digital Innovation at Universal Musical Group, and as an advisor to the CEO of Shine America where she developed strategies to build digital brands for TV properties. She also worked in business strategy & operations at FOX Audience Network and worked as an Investment Banker at Lehman Brothers in the Global Gaming and Lodging Business.

Katerina earned a degree from Brown University in Applied Mathematics-Economics and is on the board of several startups. She was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 for Venture Capital list for 2014, serves as a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum and lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, Michael, who is also an entrepreneur, and daughter, Tali
