Kathleen graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics with Operational Research. She also has an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice from the University of Ulster.

Kathleen is a Junior Consultant working on the Northern Ireland Spin Out (NISPO) Fund, which supports start-up and early stage businesses in Northern Ireland through a £5 million Venture Capital Fund and a £3 million Proof of Concept Fund, concentrating on the latter. She also assists with the Investment Readiness Training aspects of the business and has been involved in the organisation and running of a number of workshops to date.

While at University, Kathleen completed an internship with KPMG. She also gained experience with FG Wilson Ltd and prior to joining E-Synergy she worked in the corporate finance department of the Ulster Bank.
