Kim is currently the ABB Industrial Automation Service Product Manager where he leads the global development of intelligent data driven digital services including extended reality, simulation, digital twin technology and plant performance models He has over 30 years of diverse automation industry experience, across a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, power generation and petrochemicals. He has served in roles that span the entire value chain including field service, training, product development and management, and IoT enterprise solution architect. Throughout his career, he has directed the delivery of innovative software products and solutions that bridge technology and practicality to help customers optimize performance and reduce cost. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron, and currently lives near Wilmington, North Carolina.
