Ms. Linda Johnson Rice served as Chief Executive Officer of Johnson Publishing Company Inc. from April 11, 2002 to August 2010. Ms. Rice served as President of Fashion Fair Cosmetics, a division of Johnson Publishing. She oversees the editorial content of Ebony and Jet magazines. She also managed the management of Johnson Publishing Company Inc. (publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines). She joined Johnson Publishing Company Inc. in 1980 and served as its Vice President since 1985 and Chief Operating Officer from 1987 to 2002. She served as President of Johnson Publishing Company Inc. until November 2008. Ms. Rice has been a Director at Kimberly-Clark Corporation since 1995; Omnicom Group Inc. since 2000 and Johnson Publishing Company Inc. since 2002. She serves as a Director of IAD Corp., and After School Matters, Inc. She serves as a Director of University of Southern California, Northwestern Memorial Corporation, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Princess Grace Foundation and Magazine Publishers Association. She served as Director of Bausch & Lomb Inc., since 1990. She served as a Director of MoneyGram International Inc.

March 24, 2008. She served as a Director of Viad Corporation since 1992, and also of Continental Bank Corporation and its subsidiary Continental Bank N.A. Ms. Rice serves as the member of the several Organizations including National Association of Black journalists, the Young President Organization, The Economic Club of Chicago, The commercial Club of Chicago, Fashion Group International and the Executive Club of Chicago. She serves on the Advisory Board of The woman's Board of The Art Institute of Chicago and the Founding Council of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture. In recognition of her leadership and achievements, the Chicago Sun-Times named her among Chicago's 100 most Powerful Women and the Top 10 women in media. She has received Women of Power Award from the National Urban League, The Trumpet Award from the Turner Broadcasting , the Alumni Merit Award from University of Southern California and the Alumni of the Year Award from Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, Black Management Association.

Ms. Rice obtained BA in Journalism from Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California and MBA from Northwestern University J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
