Livio Fenati has over 19 years of experience in the infrastructure sector (primarily, transportation, telecommunications and utilities) and has a strong understanding of corporate finance and capital market products (public and private M&A, IPOs and financing). Livio also has strong managerial capabilities (specifically in the areas of corporate strategy, organizational design, business process re-engineering and value based management) gained from his prior experience as a management consultant.

Livio was a member of the team that founded Arcus in 2009, and his experience has been gained through his career in investment banking, principal investing and management consulting. Through his professional career Livio has led and completed a large number of transactions across the communications, road, energy, and port sectors. Livio’s core capabilities are financial valuation, negotiation and
post-acquisition performance improvement strategies.

As well as being responsible for several M&A transactions and refinancings for Euroports as its Asset Manager, Livio has recently worked on the execution of the asset management strategy for Brisa, including the offer for all outstanding shares (2012) and take private (2013). Livio is a member of the Fund’s Investment Committee and sits on the Boards of Euroports and Brisa. Previously, Livio was a member of the European Infrastructure team at Babcock & Brown (2006-2009). Prior to that, Livio worked at Société Généralé Corporate & Investment Banking (2004-2006), Banca IMI – Intesa Group (1997-2004) and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) (1994-1997).

Livio holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Rome, July 1994.
