Marco Mendes is the Managing Director and Head Portfolio Group - North America at Advent International. He joined Advent in 2013. Previously, he spent seven years with Doughty Hanson, based in London, where he was responsible for operational value creation, with a focus on top-line growth initiatives across all portfolio companies, he was also a member of Doughty Hanson s private equity investment committee. Previously, Marco worked for more than 10 years in strategy consulting and held management positions including marketing director, marketing manager, and brand manager with Unilever, UnoFirst bank, and Orange in Europe, USA and Latin America.
