Mate Rimac (1988) is Croatian inventor, entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Rimac Automobili and Greyp Bikes.Rimac Automobili Ltd. is a high-technology company from Croatia founded in 2009 which focuses on the development and production of high-performance electric vehicles, powertrains and battery systems. The company’s CEO Mate Rimac was committed to building the next-generation of supercars, which began when Mate converted his old BMW to a race EV. The car officially homologated as a “Rimac Automobili e-M3” is holding 5 FIA and Guinness World records for acceleration. Rimac Automobili is the company behind the idea and production of the ConceptOne, their first vehicle which was the world’s first electric hypercar with more than 1000 HP, an exceptional supercar with a new propulsion system as well as the revolutionary approach to vehicle dynamics - All Wheel Torque Vectoring (AWTV).
