Michel Crémieux joined Voltalia’s team in 2015 as Head of Business Development to speed up and structure Voltalia’s growth in France but also abroad.
Michel Crémieux benefits from 35 years of experience in the energy industry, particularly in renewables. First as founder and manager of two energy management companies (Sinerg and Scet-Environnement) in the 1990s, Michel Crémieux then joined EDF in 1999 to oversee business development – he initiated and managed the creation of EDF Energies Nouvelles – and then international operations.
From 2005 to 2008, he was in charge of operations at Edison (Italian electricity and gas producer) as COO. Since 2008, Michel Crémieux was CEO of ENEL France, the French subsidiary of another leading Italian power producer.
Besides, Michel Crémieux is co-founder and chairman of ESF (Elettrici Senza Frontiere), an international NGO dedicated to improve the living conditions of the poorest by giving them a secured and long term access to electricity.
Michel Crémieux graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE. He also holds a post-graduate diploma from Paris-Dauphine University.
