Michiel Toneman is the Head of Software Development Adyen. An instrumental member of Adyen since its inception, Michiel leads the in-house development team that makes up one third of Adyen’s employee count, and is responsible for driving the rapid pace of advanced new feature releases for the Adyen payment platform.

Prior to joining Adyen, Michiel was a Software Eengineer at Bibit, liaising between software teams and working on platform integration and before that, Technology Lead at @msterdam, a web development agency. Michiel has an academic background in artificial intelligence.
