Mitch Edwards joined Overstock.com in August, 2015, as senior vice president and general counsel for the Utah-based online retailer. Prior to Overstock.com, Mitch served as the CFO & GC of Razer Inc., a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics, laptops, tablets, and gaming peripherals, based in Singapore. That role followed stints as CFO & GC of Skullcandy, Inc, and CFO & GC of BitTorrent. He has also held the role of CFO at Groxis, Ikano Communications, and Digital Courier Technologies.
Mitch started his career as an M&A and corporate securities lawyer at Shearman & Sterling in New York and San Francisco, was a Partner at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in Los Angeles, and has also worked at the White House and the United States Supreme Court. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, where he was valedictorian, international business and law degrees from Oxford University, where he was a Marshall Scholar, and a law degree from Stanford Law School.
Mitch likes to ski, mountain bike, run and climb with any or all of his 4 children, from the canyons of Moab to the couloirs of the Dolomites
