Murray Indick is a corporate partner at Morrison & Foerster, where he co-chairs the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice and is a member of the firm’s FinTech group.Murray Indick has more than thirty years of corporate law and investment fund experience, both in private practice and as partner and general counsel to Blum Capital Partners and Prides Capital Partners. His practice involves guiding startup businesses through all parts of the lifecycle, from initial formation through exit, as well as representing venture capital firms and investment funds on financings from seed round to nine-figure late stage investments. He also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to forming investment funds and subsequent transactional and counseling work for these funds, frequently as outside general counsel. The investment businesses he advises range in size from “startup” money managers to a global investment firm with assets under management in excess of $20 billion.Murray received his law degree, magna cum laude, in 1984 from Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree in 1981 from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied history and English and graduated magna cum laude.
