Paul Downes qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with KPMG and subsequently joined Bankers Trust Company, Botts & Company and European Acquisition Capital, more recently working with Silverpoint Capital. He is a Partner with Hutton Collins, a specialist capital provider that focuses on the UK and Western Europe, based in London. He has worked in private equity for over 25 years and during that time been a Director of numerous companies such as Parker Pen, Nelson Hurst and Interfloor. He has acted as Chairman on many others which have included Mappin & Web, Eton Townhouse and Anker B.V.
