Philip James is the Founder and CEO of Firstleaf.
Philip James is the Co-Founder of LOT18 in late 2010 with $3 million in funding.
It has raised about $44.5 million from investors including Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and FirstMark Capital.

James was previously the founder of wine site Snooth.com. Fortuna was previously the CEO of Quigo, an advertising technology company he sold to AOL Time Warner for $360 million in 2007.

Philip James founded Snooth in November 2006, prior to that he was Executive Vice President at The Wine Messenger (an online retailer of Wine).

Prior to Business School, Philip was an Analyst at Merrill Lynch, where he focused on Corporate Finance for the Technology sector.

Philip graduated from Oxford University in 1999 with a Masters in Chemistry and Columbia Business School in 2005 with his MBA. In addition he holds the Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators.

Philip climbed Mount Everest in 2003 and played a role in the high altitude rescue of Conan Harrod from Everest's North Face.
