Randy Pond is the Executive Vice President,Operations, Processes, and Systems at Cisco.As Executive Vice President of Operations, Processes, and Systems at Cisco, Randy Pond oversees the functions of connected business operations, corporate affairs, supply chain operations, go-to-market operations, go-to-market shared services, human resources, information technology, and legal services. He also co-chairs the Quality Experience Steering Committee. To help fuel growth, promote innovation, and increase Cisco's productivity, Pond is currently leading a comprehensive business transformation across Cisco operations by reengineering business processes, rearchitecting IT systems, and redefining the role of Cisco leadership.

Previously Pond was Senior Vice President of West Coast and Asia Operations, where he held responsibility for all of worldwide manufacturing operations, including product fulfillment and logistics. Before that, as Vice President of Manufacturing, he oversaw all aspects of manufacturing operations, including new product introduction, planning, procurement, production operations, and distribution and logistics. He joined Cisco in 1993 as Director of Manufacturing Operations through the acquisition of Crescendo Communications.

Pond's key accomplishments at Cisco include establishing consistent business processes and operational metrics across the company, double-digit productivity growth, redefining the manufacturing model, delivering Cisco's new business models into operation, and redesigning the employee value proposition.

Prior to joining Cisco, Pond was Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Operations at Crescendo Communications.He has also held various finance and operations positions at,Versatec,David Systems,Xerox Corporation,Schlumberger,Arthur Andersen.Pond chairs the board of the March of Dimes of Silicon Valley, and serves as a board member for CARE USA and the Islamic Networks Group. He is an advisor for the Miller College of Business Board of Advisors, and a Trustee of the Ball State University Foundation.Pond holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Economics from Ball State University in Indiana.
