Ray is a highly successful serial entrepreneur with an enviable track record of success in a variety of industries. Until 1998 Ray was chairman and the principal shareholder in Forward Group PLC, Europe’s leading manufacturer of PCB’s and listed on the UK Stock Exchange. Ray accepted a $200m offer for the business in 1997 and diversified his interests in a number of areas, which included setting up the Forward Group fund (a cornerstone investor in the Mercia Fund 2).
