Mr. Robert L. Shanks, also know as Bob has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Ford Motor Co. since April 1, 2012 and serves as its Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Shanks serves as Chief Financial Officer of Ford Motor Co.'s Premier Automotive Group, with increased responsibility for driving Marketing, Sales and Service issues across the PAG brands. and he oversee Ford of Europe's finance activities. He served as Vice President and Controller of Ford Motor Co. from September 1, 2009 to April 1, 2012. He served as Vice President, Operations Support, Finance and Strategy, Ford of Europe and Premier Automotive Group (PAG) of Ford Motor Co., since July 2004.

Mr. Shanks joined Ford Motor Company in 1977. He served as controller of The Americas and vice president of The Americas at Ford Motor Co. from September 1, 2005 to September 1, 2009. He also develop and manage the overall Ford of Europe and PAG governance process, and contribute to the implementation of a consistent Ford of Europe and PAG investor relations strategy. He serves as a Director at Ford Motor Credit Co. LLC.

Mr. Shanks earned a Bachelor's degree in foreign service from Georgetown University in 1975, and a Master's degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management in 1976.
