Rus Yusupov is an American tech founder and entrepreneur whose successful businesses include Vine and HQ Trivia, the recently launched hit game show app where users compete for cash prizes. With its simple, pioneering premise, HQ Trivia attracted immediate attention for its groundbreaking use of livestreaming technology and programmatic viewing. It is now the largest livestreaming show on the internet and boasts millions of players a game.Rus began his career as a digital product designer at various firms including Razorfish and R/GA, before founding his own design and engineering studio, Big Human, in 2008. Based in New York City, Big Human’s clients include Time.com, Urban Dictionary, Jetsetter, Time Warner, and Fortune, among others. In 2012, Rus co-founded Vine out of the Big Human offices and within months sold the looping, short-form video service to Twitter.
