Steve has been a member of the Kinetic Social leadership team since the company's inception and currently serves as the Vice President of Sales, Central. Prior to Kinetic, he held leadership roles within the technology startup and media space with organizations such as Traffic Marketplace and Specific Media, where he helped launch and grow the central region into one of the most profitable for each company. Previously Steve worked at Modern Luxury Media, where he oversaw the most successful magazine launch and website rollout in the 15 year history of the company; and at J. Walter Thompson where he handled account management and new business responsibilities for brands such as Kraft, Nabisco, Oscar Mayer, Blockbuster, Motorola and Salton.Outside of Kinetic Social, Steve serves on the board for Chicago HOPE, a non-profit organization he co-founded which provides college scholarships and mentoring for need-based youth in the Chicago area. Steve has also been philanthropically involved with The Art Institute of Chicago, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Off The Street Club and Habitat for Humanity. Steve is actively involved in the Chicago startup community and serves as an advisor to a number of Chicago's growing technology startups and incubators.Steve graduated from Villanova University with a degree in marketing where he was also a member of the football team. Steve is completing his MBA at The University of Chicago's, Booth School of Business with concentrations in entrepreneurship, finance, strategic management and managerial and organizational behavior. In his free time, Steve enjoys the outdoors, staying active and spending time with his family.
