Steve Kuo is a managing director in the Technology Group and brings more than 15 years of operational and structured finance experience to Hercules. Prior to joining the Company in 2006, he was a co-founder of Lending Rock, Inc., a real estate solutions company, where he was responsible for marketing, customer management and lending syndication.

Prior to starting Lending Rock, Kuo was a strategic member of the Lightcross team, a venture-backed start-up focused on silicon photonics. Before joining Lightcross, Kuo was a principal at Comdisco Ventures. Kuo began his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen where he specialized in distressed companies. Kuo holds a B.S. from the Haas Business School at the University of California at Berkeley.
