Mr. Dauphin, 42, joined MVP in June 2003 as Murphree Venture Partners merged activities with Bonaventure Capital. He is a Co-Founder and Partner at Bonaventure and has been involved in every aspect of Bonaventure's two venture funds, Treble Range Partners I and Treble Range Partners II since 1998.

From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Dauphin worked with The Harbinger Group. During his tenure as Managing Director, the firm managed $126 million of private market discretionary investment capital from clients including US WEST Pension, Eli Lilly Pension, Mellon Foundation and ING Insurance. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Dauphin worked as a Special Agent for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) where he conducted undercover and surveillance activities against multi-kilo cocaine and methamphetamine traffickers. He was also a member of the Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team specially trained for raids on methamphetamine manufacturing sites. Prior to business school, Mr. Dauphin worked for Citicorp and the Anglican Church of Newfoundland.

Mr. Dauphin received his M.B.A. and a Jenrette Fellowship from the University of North Carolina 's Kenan-Flagler School of Business, and a B.A. in economics and religion with honors from Harvard University . Mr. Dauphin is the Founder of Force 26 International, a non-profit dedicated to helping young men develop leadership skills and international aid experience prior to entering college. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Intrinergy and Smart Furniture.
