Sunny co-founded Signia Venture Partners in 2012 after launching his own location-based mobile startup named Barstool, working in business development for a venture backed spin off of New Line Cinema, and investing in early stage digital media start-ups for Pritzker Group Venture Capital in LA and Chicago. He was previously an M&A analyst in technology investment banking at Rothschild in London and a corporate strategist for Warner Bros.He is on the board of Next Gen Partners, a Silicon Valley venture capital mentoring organization, and Cents of Relief, a charity based in Connecticut that focuses on reducing human trafficking in Indian urban slums.Sunny serves as Board Observer with Signia’s investments in Super Evil Megacorp, Riffsy, 8i, and Tenor. Other Signia investments he has worked closely with include PC gaming company Phoenix Labs and auto startup Cruise.He invests across consumer and enterprise sector startups, with a particular interest in consumer mobile, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer brands, and blockchain technology.Sunny graduated with his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a Lee Hague Scholar. He has an undergraduate honors degree in Economics & Management from Oxford University and a master’s in International Relations & History from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he graduated with distinction.
