Takaaki is the CEO and Chief Scientist of Innovatube Frontier Labs and leads a team of researchers and engineers in AI, AR/VR, blockchain and IoT research and development. He is a computational scientist and served as the CTO of more than 5 startups in Japan and Asia with a strong background in coding, service, system architecture design and cutting edge technologies. He started coding at the age of 9 and made some key breakthrough in core functional areas in web crawling, search, mobile and game developments.

He has written and translated more than 25 books in Japan covering computer and web services, machine learning for hackers and natural language processing with Python. Some of them have become best sellers on Amazon Japan including "Web API: The Good Parts". He has also been writing articles and op-eds on the development of web and mobile developments since 1990s.

Takaaki has worked at some of the largest corporations in IT industry such as Baidu and DeNA in Japan at which he was the lead developers and leader of the R&D team. He was the first Japanese developer hired by Baidu and was responsible for the establishment of Baidu Japan development team.

Takaaki obtained his chemistry degree from Keio University and Masters in Agriculture and Life Sciences from the University of Tokyo. He lives in Tokyo, Singapore and Bangkok and is constantly immersing himself in researching the latest technologies.
