Tanuj Shori, founded and manages Square Global comprising of entities under 2 brand names – Square Yards and Square Capital. Prior to this, Tanuj has had more than 8 years of experience in Capital Markets (Equities). During his tenure with Standard Chartered Bank, Lehman Brothers and Nomura; he has tracked the Asia Pacific & US markets. Tanuj has been a fast achiever throughout, and apart from strong educational pedigree, he rose to become one of the youngest Executive Directors in Nomura. He covered host of sectors including banking, infrastructure, commodities and luxury consumer during his stint, was te top ranked Asia analyst and has been a well known thought leader for his disruptive and distinguished views on strategy, growth drivers, execution in these sectors.
An Indian Institute of Management(IIM) Graduate, Tanuj like many of the alumni of this prestigious institute, choose to create his own path. Leaving aside a highly lucrative job in equities, Tanuj is steadily building a highly successful venture. In the short time of its existence, Square Yards has become one of the most diversified and trusted Real Estate Consultant around the world. After a successful first phase (becoming India’s largest real estate Advisory firm in just 14 months of existence) Square yards is now planning to aggressively execute expansion strategy which includes consolidation in real estate advisory, market leadership position for mortgage advisory, Global project marketing and most importantly, introducing path breaking technology to grow and support advisory business.
As CEO of Square Global, Tanuj has been instrumental in setting up the 500 people organization from scratch, building processes, driving sales targets, differentiating niche positioning and creating strong business development practices. Many of the Square Yards’ initiaitves like CRM technology, Global Intelligence Cell, etc have now become industry benchmarks.

Apart from professional pursuits, Tanuj is an avid traveller, having been to all 7 continents, 50+ countries and is also an adventure sports enthusiast, having shark dived in pacific ocean and sky dived over rugged mountain terrains. Tanuj prides himself on people management skills, having successfully run global multi cultural teams across Asia.
