Dillard has been a director of Acxiom since 1988 and serves on the Audit/Finance Committee and the Compensation Committee of the Board. He has served as a member of the Dillard’s, Inc. (NYSE: DDS) board of directors since 1968 and currently serves as the chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Dillard’s, Inc., a chain of traditional department stores based in Little Rock, Arkansas, with approximately 274 store locations and 23 clearance centers in 29 states.

Dillard is also a director of Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS). He served as the Company’s lead independent director from 2006–2007.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Harvard University.
