Yoshitaka Kinoshita is President at Micron Memory Japan, Inc. and Micron Akita, Inc. Mr. Kinoshita joined Micron from Elpida Memory in July 2013, where he had served as Director, Chief Operating Officer and Head of the DRAM Business Unit. Mr. Kinoshita began his career at Hitachi, Ltd. in 1982, which later spun off its DRAM business division into Elpida Memory, Inc. During his 31-years with Elpida/Hitachi, he held several positions of increased responsibility in the Advanced DRAM Development, Server and PC, and Mobile and Digital Consumer Divisions. Mr. Kinoshita also previously served as a director on the boards of Walton Advanced Engineering, Inc., and Powertech Technology, Inc.

Mr. Kinoshita holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology.
