Before joining Age of Learning, Zac Katz was Chief of Staff of the Federal Communications Commission, responsible for the agency’s policymaking and operations on behalf of Chairman Julius Genachowski. At the FCC, Zac oversaw and helped launch a major upgrade of the E-rate program, which provides billions of dollars in annual funding to help connect schools and libraries to the Internet. He joined the FCC in 2009 from the White House, and he previously practiced law at Munger, Tolles & Olson, after beginning his career in strategy consulting and venture investing in Silicon Valley. Zac graduated from Yale Law School, where he was Editor in Chief of The Yale Law Journal.
