Takashi Nakayama, CFA, is Head of Japan Capital Management at AIG Japan Holdings, where he is in charge of group-wide capital planning, internal reinsurance, stress testing, and credit rating management.Previously, he engaged in risk and strategic advisory services at Deloitte. Prior to that he was in UBS and JP Morgan, where he gained wide range of financial experience, including propriety trading, loan origination, and derivatives structuring, risk modeling, and financial product development. He began his career with Bank of Japan as a market economist. He currently serves as a board director of CFA Society Japan.Mr. Nakayama co-authored two books: Insurance ERM Strategy and Post Crisis Stress Testing. He holds a Master of financial engineering from University of California at Berkeley, and a Master of Science in physics from University of Tsukuba.
